NEW Water Sense, EPA Partnership Program:
EPA released its Final Specification for Single-Family New Homes (PDF) (15 pp, 120K) on December 10, 2009. This specification establishes the criteria for new homes labeled under the WaterSense program and is applicable to newly constructed single-family homes and townhomes of three stories or less.

NEW DOE Launches New Version of Commercial Lighting Solutions Web Tool The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has launched the newest version of its Commercial Lighting Solutions Web tool, expanding energy-saving lighting solutions and approaches to offices and institutional buildings. The Web tool provides detailed instructions to help building owners and operators reduce the energy used by commercial lighting by 30% or more.
