Hotel/Motel

Small Hotel/Motel facilities rank fourth nationally in commercial building energy intensity (energy used per square foot per year) with an energy intensity of 100,000 Btuh per square foot. The average for all commercial buildings is 90,000 Btuh per square foot. Energy is used in Hotels/Motels predominantly for hot water supply, lighting in guest rooms and common/outside areas, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and (where applicable) motors for elevators.

30+% Energy Savings Possible
