The Builder Association of Northern Nevada is offering FREE RESNET HERS Rater Certification Training  in their office beginning Monday, March 26 – 29 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

This class is designed to provide professional Building Performance Institute standards and practices to our industry as we re-tool for the future - a future that includes a great deal of energy efficient construction and retrofit opportunities.

Due to a Department of Labor grant, there is NO COST for this instruction, valued at $1795 per person.

Once again, the Nevada State Office of Energy is offering scholarships for EduCode 2012!  This time, as some of you have requested, we are extending the offer to design professionals and building industry contractors!

Please note the maximum allowable reimbursement has changed for this year’s conference.  Click on this link http://educode.us/scholarships/ to find the reimbursement rules and submit your applications.  There are two separate application forms, one for Government Employees and the other for Industry Professionals – please be sure to click on the correct application.

A few key points to consider:

  • Scholarships are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Individual scholarships are limited to $426 if you reside outside of Clark County or Pahrump, Nevada.
  • Individual scholarships are limited to $300 maximum if you reside in Clark County or Pahrump, Nevada.
  • After EduCode 2012, all reimbursement requests must be submitted by March 10, 2012 for processing.
