Industrial energy use comprises 30% of total energy use and presents significant opportunities for energy and cost savings for businesses. MnTAP has identified electrical and thermal energy savings for six manufacturing sectors and their key subsectors, including chemical manufacturing, fabricated metals, food processing, printing, primary metals, and wood products. MnTAP will present the findings from their study including energy footprints, energy savings, and where the report is located.
