The strategy, \u201cComing Together for Clean Water: EPA\u2019s Strategy for Achieving Clean Water,\u201d is designed to chart EPA\u2019s path in furthering EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson\u2019s key priority of protecting America\u2019s waters.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy was developed by considering the input and ideas generated at the April \u201cComing Together for Clean Water\u201d forum as well as comments received through the online discussion forum.\u00a0 Participants shared their perspectives on how to advance the EPA\u2019s clean water agenda focusing on the agency\u2019s two priority areas: healthy watersheds and sustainable communities. EPA is now inviting the public to consider and provide their comments on the approaches outlined in the strategy.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Public comments on the draft strategy should be submitted by September 17.
