{"id":5700,"date":"2013-03-01T12:02:27","date_gmt":"2013-03-01T19:02:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/unrbep.org\/?p=5700"},"modified":"2013-03-01T12:02:27","modified_gmt":"2013-03-01T19:02:27","slug":"greenup-seek-nominations-for-community-environmental-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unrbep.org\/dealerportal\/greenup-seek-nominations-for-community-environmental-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"GreenUP Seek Nominations for Community Environmental Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reno, NV. &#8211; Local non-profit GreenUP, is seeking nominations of individuals and organizations for the annual Golden Pinecone Environmental Awards that take place on March 28th at the Peppermill.\u00a0 The awards are presented yearly to outstanding organizations and individuals for their achievements toward improving and sustaining the environment.\u00a0 Winner will be chosen in each of the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Individual<\/li>\n<li>Non-profit Organization or Federal\/State Agency<\/li>\n<li>Business<\/li>\n<li>Public Figure\/Servant (elected or appointed official)\/ Agency Representative (staff person)<\/li>\n<li>Youth Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Educational Programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nomination forms are available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/greenupnow.biz\/golden-pinecone\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/greenupnow.biz\/golden-pinecone\/<\/a>.\u00a0 Previous winners are not eligible, but updated resubmissions are encouraged for previous nominations.\u00a0 The same individual or organization may be nominated for more than one category.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations must be received by 5 p.m., Friday, March 8.\u00a0 Nomination forms may be emailed to <a href=\"mailto:greenupreno@yahoo.com\">greenupreno@yahoo.com<\/a>.
