The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection and the Southern Nevada Health District are holding a free mercury collection event at the Southern Nevada Health District’s main office located at 280 South Decatur Bldv from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aptil 13, 2024.

They will accept elemental mercury in household quantities. The mercury must be delivered in a sealed, undamaged, or original plastic or metal container that does not leak.
