Public Workshop: Nevada Proposing to Adopt California Low Emission Vehicle and Zero Emission Vehicle Programs Effective Model Year 2025

The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) is proposing to adopt the California Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) and Zero Emissions Vehicle (ZEV) programs for new vehicle sales beginning with the 2025 model year. On July 28, 2021, NDEP will be hosting a public workshop to solicit comments on this proposal. The workshop will be held:

If adopted, this regulation may be submitted to the US Environmental Protection Agency as a revision to the Nevada State Implementation Plan (SIP). This proposal is part of the Clean Cars Nevada rulemaking process that NDEP initiated on June 22, 2020.
